What the French Ministry of Culture records
Château édifié de 1903 à 1905 pour le banquier Paul Varin-Bernier, par l'architecte local Jules Renard, et réalisé par l'entreprise France-Lanord et Bichaton. Pétain y séjourna en juin 1916. Restauré en 1975 pour l'installation d'une médiathèque.
