What the French Ministry of Culture records
Ancienne maison seigneuriale rebâtie en 1873 dans le style du 18e siècle classique français. Entre 1903 et 1905, le château a été radicalement transformé par le docteur Haniel sur les plans de l'architecte Bodo Ebhardt. Cette demeure propose les styles les plus caractéristiques de l'art allemand : roman, gothique tardif, Renaissance, style wilhelmien et Jüngenstil.
