What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château devait autrefois être constitué par deux tours rondes encadrant un corps de logis. Il fut sans doute modifié lors de l'ajout du pavillon et de l'aile plus basse, au 18e siècle. Une des tours rondes a été supprimée. Le corps de logis a perdu ses meneaux et a été aménagé au goût du 18e. La tour ronde restante a été comprise dans la construction du pavillon du 18e, qui lui est accolé. Une aile comprenant un rez-de-chaussée et des mansardes continue le pavillon en retrait.
