Standing on the banks of the Tardoire river, just a short distance from the château de Ferrières, the château de Chabrot combines a 14th century manor flanked by corner turrets with a separate round keep. A notable feature is the courtyard facade, where a timber gallery rests on the pointed arches of a lower stone gallery, alongside a truncated tower thought to have served as the keep of the earlier stronghold.
