Rebuilt in 1781 on the site of an earlier manor house, it displays the plain style typical of late 18th-century country residences. The protected ensemble includes the main building, its staircase, the entrance gates and gateway, and a dovecote. Excavations on the grounds uncovered older remains, which some 19th-century scholars linked to Queen Brunhilda.
