Château de Blanat stands in Saint-Michel-de-Bannières (Lot), in the Occitanie region of France. No visits are on record for this building.
The château de Blanat stands on a terrace overlooking the northern Haut-Quercy, in the commune of Saint-Michel-de-Bannières, with views reaching as far as the Puy d'Issolud. Built in the 15th century for the Blanat family, it keeps a main dwelling flanked by two round towers and a pentagonal tower topped with stone-slab roofing, housing a spiral staircase. Its history includes an unresolved triple murder in 1573, and later a stay by singer Nino Ferrer, who recorded an album there in the 1970s. The estate remains privately owned, with access depending on occasional events organised locally.
