What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le fief de Billeron est mentionné à la fin du 12e siècle. L'édifice fut construit à la fin du 18e siècle et comprend un corps de logis avec un niveau de soubassement et un étage dont l'accès se fait par un perron. Devant le corps de logis, au sud, s'étend une cour fermée par une demi-lune cantonnée par deux tours circulaires. Cet espace se prolonge par une seconde cour bordée par des bâtiments de communs datant des 18e et 19e siècles. Au sud-ouest du corps de logis se trouve une chapelle de style néo-gothique, construite vers 1895 par l'architecte Tarlier. Le dessin du parc et des jardins réalisés à la fin du 18e siècle se retrouve en partie aujourd'hui.
