Château de Bien-Assis stands in Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme), in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. No visits are on record for this building.
The château de Bien-Assis no longer stands: this fortified manor built north of Clermont-Ferrand at the end of the Middle Ages was torn down in 1914 to make way for the Michelin factory at Les Carmes. It is remembered mainly through Blaise Pascal, who stayed there with his brother-in-law Florin Périer and where the original manuscript of the Pensées was kept for decades. Nothing remains on the original site today, though two pieces of the building were rescued before demolition.

What to know
- There is no château left to visit: the building was completely demolished in 1914.
- The original site now lies within the Michelin factory grounds at Les Carmes, not open to the public as such.
- The entrance porch and a lion-head fountain were moved in 1915 to the Jardin Lecoq in Clermont-Ferrand, where they can still be seen.
- The balustrade from the south facade was reinstalled on a private villa by the Tazenat crater lake.
