To make a day of it

Château de Bazelaire de Lesseux stands in Lusse (Vosges), in the Grand Est region of France. The building is not open to visitors.

In Lusse, in the Vosges, this country house was built in 1880 by Octave de Bazelaire de Lesseux on the site of a feudal residence destroyed by fire in 1822. Inside stands a five metre high fireplace made by Louis Majorelle, decorated with an equestrian statue of Joan of Arc and the coats of arms of the owning family. An English style landscaped park extends in front of the main facade, which features five openings flanked by two turrets.
