What the French Ministry of Culture records

Maison forte du 13e siècle, remaniée au 17e siècle, composée d'un corps de logis et d'une tour rectangulaire. Les défenses consistent en un fossé, le couronnement crénelé du logis et la tour qui protégeait l'entrée. La tour était en mauvais état à la Révolution, et la toiture du logis s'est effondrée au début du 20e siècle. C'est un témoin intéressant des maisons fortes gasconnes du Moyen Age, situé alors aux confins des possessions anglaises et françaises.
