What the French Ministry of Culture records
Belle demeure du 18e siècle, construite entre cour et jardin. Plans et devis mentionnés en 1750 (attribués à François Tureau, l'architecte de la ville du Vigan) , comptes arrêtés avec l'entrepreneur Thureau en 1759. L'hôtel possède une distribution et un décor intérieurs de grande qualité (cage d'escalier, alcôves, gypseries, cheminées et menuiseries). Vendu comme bien national pendant la Révolution, il a servi de prison, de mairie, ... avant d'être racheté par les Assas Faventines en 1850.
