What the French Ministry of Culture records
L'origine de la maison d'Arros est ancienne et déjà mentionnée en 1097. Le château présente un grand corps de bâtiment comprenant un rez-de-chaussée sur caves, et deux étages. A ce corps principal ont été ajoutées en équerre deux ailes : l'aile ouest encadrée par deux tourelles au 18e siècle ; l'aile ouest avec une tour d'angle polygonale au milieu du 19e siècle. La porte Est donne accès à un vaste salon dont les boiseries et les poutres apparentes sont peintes de motifs décoratifs. A proximité de la demeure s'élève le bâtiment des anciennes écuries. Plus loin, un pigeonnier rond est tapissé de quelques centaines de boulins. Dans le parc, au sud-est, l'orangerie a été entièrement remontée.
