Butte Saint-Clair stands in Remilly Les Marais (Manche), in the Normandie region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: Middle Ages). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.
The butte Saint-Clair is a medieval motte castle overlooking the Mesnil-Vigot marsh, in the commune of Remilly Les Marais in the Manche department. Visitors can still make out the outline of a large crescent-shaped bailey and, at the top, the corner of a masonry tower believed to belong to a 14th-century keep. The site, now covered with vegetation, preserves traces of a stronghold destroyed during the Hundred Years' War.
