This former laundry building was part of the estate built in the 19th century for the Rothschild family in Ferrières-en-Brie. Constructed around 1840 by architect Joseph-Antoine Froelicher, it illustrates the technical outbuildings that accompanied large properties of that period. The original interior layout no longer survives; only the facades and roofing retain their historic value.
