Château de Jossigny stands in Jossigny (Seine-et-Marne), in the Île-de-France region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Built in 1753 for a counsellor at the Parlement de Paris, the Château de Jossigny stands as one of the most accomplished examples of rocaille architecture in the Seine-et-Marne region. It was designed by Jacques Hardouin-Mansart de Sagonne, the last member of the Mansart dynasty, with interior decoration largely attributed to the ornamentalist Nicolas Pineau. Notable features include the pagoda-shaped roof over the central pavilion and facades with alternating concave and convex curves, typical of the mid-18th century picturesque style. The estate also includes outbuildings, an enclosed park, and avenues that frame the building's perspective.
