What the French Ministry of Culture records
La fortification est érigée dans un vallon marécageux à proximité de la ferme de Kermain. Elle est composée d'une motte tronconnique, haute de 3 m et large de 40, entourée de fossés en eau, alimentés par un détournement du ruisseau. La plate-forme sommitale a conservé les vestiges d'une structure circulaire en pierres taillées d'un diamètre d'environ 7 m. Cette motte, sans doute tardive, avait certainement un rôle plus résidentiel que militaire.
