What the French Ministry of Culture records

Châtellenie qui relevait de Semblançay et de Luynes. Le manoir fut converti en maison forte avec douves, tours, tourelles et canonières, par concession octroyée par Louis XII. Il fut en grande partie remanié ou reconstruit à la suite de cette concession. Le manoir comprend aujourd'hui un corps de logis en brique et pierre du 15e siècle dont les percements ont été refaits au 16e siècle. Au nord de la cour, un bâtiment du 16e siècle, portant sur sa façade sud une tourelle cylindrique portée par un cul de lampe. Il est flanqué à l'est et à l'ouest de communs. A l'angle nord-est se dresse la fuye cylindrique.
