To make a day of it

Manoir de Kerviziou stands in Plestin-les-Grèves (Côtes-d'Armor), in the Bretagne region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 16th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

The manor of Kerviziou stands in Plestin-les-Grèves, enclosed around a courtyard whose entrance is marked by a sculpted granite gateway. The gateway itself draws the eye, with its pedestrian and carriage doors under a round arch, a crocketed ogee hood and armorial pinnacles, alongside a round defensive tower pierced with gunports guarding the approach. The main house, dating from the late 15th or early 16th century, was heavily altered in the 19th century and restored at the end of the 20th.
