To make a day of it

Château du Coat-Caric stands in Plestin-les-Grèves (Côtes-d'Armor), in the Bretagne region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

The Château du Coat-Caric stands in the commune of Plestin-les-Grèves, in the Côtes-d'Armor department. Built in the late 19th century in an eclectic style combining neo-Gothic and classical influences, its original main residence was destroyed by fire at the end of the 20th century. What remains today are the outbuildings: stables and lodgings arranged in an H-shaped plan, adorned with towers topped by conical or polygonal roofs, dormer windows with finials, and gables with crocketed edges. The ensemble reflects the taste for monumental architecture in rural estates of that period.
