What the French Ministry of Culture records

Cette seigneurie, située à la frontière entre le duché de Normandie et le royaume de France, est attestée depuis la fin du 11e siècle. Le manoir se compose d'un logis de plan rectangulaire du 13e siècle, en pierre calcaire et silex, modifié au 16e siècle (percement de baies, installation d'un escalier en vis, etc.) , et comportant un étage de soubassement, un rez-de-chaussée et un étage surmonté d'un comble à charpente du 18e siècle. Il se compose également d'un enclos pavé en partie sud face au manoir, dont la terrasse est épaulée par des murs de soutènement en pierre de taille. La partie souterraine hors-oeuvre est constituée d'un cellier à niches latérales du 14e siècle.
