Le manoir à l'Evêque est le dernier vestige d'un vaste ensemble détruit dans les années 1960, celui du petit séminaire de Saint-Servan, construit en 1727 par le chevalier de Garengeau (1647-1741) , ingénieur en chef de Saint-Malo depuis 1691. Le manoir, destiné à servir de résidence à l'Evêque de Saint-Malo, est en fait un bel exemple de malouinière de moyenne importance : le logis, situé au centre d'un terrain enclos, et entouré d'annexes, en présente le plan ramassé, l'austérité de la façade, uniquement rythmée par les ouvertures, et les dispositions intérieures. Le décor intérieur a conservé de belles boiseries au rez-de-chaussée et un bel escalier en granit, à rampe et départ de bois de belle facture.
