What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le manoir fut, jusqu'à la Révolution, la résidence des seigneurs, possesseurs des bois de Taillebois qui dépendaient, depuis le 12e siècle, du fief de Taillebois. Le manoir s'organise autour d'une cour carrée. Le logis occupe le flanc sud. La partie la plus ancienne, à l'ouest, date de la fin du 15e siècle et comprend, sur sa façade postérieure, une tour d'escalier hors-oeuvre en vis. La partie habitée du corps de logis date du 16e isècle et a été remaniée au 18e. L'entrée se fait à l'ouest par un double porche (fin du 15e siècle) s'appuyant contre une grange et un bâtiment d'exploitation. Un ensemble de communs ferme la cour au nord.
