The domaine de la Bretèche, in Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche, is a château linked to the history of Louis XIV, who acquired it in 1700 before granting it to the Count of Toulouse, his legitimised son. The building, reshaped during the 18th century and restored on several occasions since, still holds an interior staircase attributed to Mansart de Sagonne. The wooded park, ornamental garden and kitchen garden surrounding it are also listed as historic monuments.
