The Wasserschloss Erkenbrechtshausen stands in the Triensbach district of Crailsheim, facing the hamlet that gave it its name, beside a pond formed by the Rotbach stream. First recorded in 1278 in a document from the Johannite hospital of Schwäbisch Hall, it is considered one of the oldest seats of the von Crailsheim family. Destroyed during the Peasants' War in 1525, it was rebuilt on a rectangular layout in the mid-16th century and later altered by the von Seckendorff family around 1760 and 1780. The estate also contains the grave of the last lord of the manor, Carl von Seckendorff, who died in 1948, and his wife.
