Schloss Winzingen stands in the Winzingen district of Donzdorf, on the site of a medieval noble residence. The current building, a three storey rectangular block in Renaissance style, was erected around 1610 after the earlier fortress was torn down. Alterations carried out in the mid 18th century by master builder David Madel left behind stucco ceilings, a staircase and roof timbering that survive today. Since 1824 the estate has belonged to the counts of Rechberg und Rothenlöwen, who still use it as their residence.
