Schloss Wernigerode stands in Wernigerode (Landkreis Harz), in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Set on a hilltop above the town of Wernigerode in the Harz, this Schloss owes its present appearance to a late 19th century rebuilding that wrapped much older foundations, dating back to the 12th century, in half timbered, neo romantic turrets. Seat of the counts of Wernigerode and later of Stolberg-Wernigerode, it passed through Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque phases before that final overhaul. The interior now functions as a museum, with staterooms including the so called royal rooms and furnished halls in Renaissance, Baroque and Classicist styles.
