Ilsenburg House stands on the remains of a Benedictine abbey in Ilsenburg, in the Harz mountains. Its history spans princely residence, theological seminary, recovery home and hotel, before passing in 2005 to a foundation dedicated to the site. The adjoining park belongs to the network of historic gardens of Saxony-Anhalt.
