To make a day of it

Schloss Wäldershub stands in Fichtenau (Landkreis Schwäbisch Hall), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.

Schloss Wäldershub was once a moated castle in what is now the hamlet of Wäldershub, part of the municipality of Fichtenau. Of the three-winged building with its four towers, now gone, only a few traces remain within a working farm, including a numbered cartouche dated 1793 and a keystone from the gate passage bearing faint remnants of a coat of arms. The building is thought to have been erected by a member of the Berlin family, patricians from Dinkelsbühl who for a time took their name from this place.
