Schloss Waiblingen stands in Waiblingen (Rems-Murr-Kreis), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.
The Schloss Waiblingen no longer stands as a visible building: it once occupied the ground where the present Rathausplatz lies, on the eastern edge of Waiblingen's old town. First recorded in 1291, it served as a residence of the counts of Württemberg before being destroyed in the great town fire of 1634. Only remains of its vaulted cellar survive beneath today's surface, restored in 2001 and now used as an event space. The site is now covered by the town hall, with nothing left above ground of the medieval castle.
