Schloss Pürkelgut stands in Regensburg (Regensburg), in Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Schloss Pürkelgut is a former moated manor house on the southeastern edge of Regensburg. It was built in 1728 under the direction of Johann Michael Prunner for the merchant Johann Jakob Pürkel and ranks among the city's notable baroque secular buildings. Napoleon was brought here for treatment in 1809 after being wounded outside Regensburg, and the poet Eduard Mörike stayed in the so called Napoleon room in 1850. Left vacant and deteriorating for decades, the building is now undergoing restoration work.
