Burg Burgweinting stands in Regensburg (Regensburg), in Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.
The Burg Burgweinting once stood in the medieval village of Weinting, now a district of Regensburg in Bavaria, though nothing of the structure remains visible today. The earliest written records of the place date to the early 14th century, when a noble family named after Weinting held land there before shifting their interests to Regensburg. A castle chapel is thought to have belonged to the fortification, possibly the building later known as the church of St John the Baptist, which was demolished in the 20th century due to disrepair. This is therefore not a site to visit in the usual sense, but an archaeological location buried beneath the modern village.
