Schloss Oberviehhausen stands in Viehhausen, a part of the municipality of Sinzing, right beside the parish church, whose rectory it now houses. The present building, a three storey structure with a hipped roof and a tower topped by a pyramidal roof, dates from a baroque reconstruction carried out around 1681 after the earlier fortified manor had been destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. The baroque enclosure wall with its gateway still survives, and the former chapel of the castle now serves as a parish hall.
