To make a day of it
Schloss Langenselbold stands in Langenselbold (Main-Kinzig-Kreis), in Hesse, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Schloss Langenselbold stands on the grounds of a Premonstratensian convent dissolved in 1543, in Langenselbold, in the Main-Kinzig-Kreis district of Hesse. Constructed in stages between 1722 and 1752 for the counts, later princes, zu Isenburg-Birstein, the complex comprises six buildings arranged around a courtyard roughly 95 by 127 metres wide. Lower wings once used for farming and household purposes flank two taller structures with mansard roofs, one of which still holds rococo interiors, silk wall coverings and eighteenth-century portraits. The former residential building now houses the town library and a festival hall, while the old grain store serves as the town hall.

- The rococo-decorated rooms are found in the 1749 residential wing, the youngest of the six buildings.
- The original baroque garden in the central courtyard no longer exists, its fountain having been moved to Schloss Birstein.
- No opening hours or admission fees are documented, so it is advisable to check directly with the local authorities beforehand.
