Schloss Langenburg stands on a rocky spur above the Jagst valley, in the town of Langenburg. Home to the Hohenlohe-Langenburg family since the Middle Ages, it still shows the two massive round towers dating from the 13th century and a Renaissance inner courtyard lined with galleries, gables and stair turrets. The museum occupying part of the building displays period furniture, tapestries, faience, weapons and hunting trophies, alongside the chapel set within one of the round towers.
