To make a day of it

Schloss Imshausen stands in Bebra (Landkreis Hersfeld-Rotenburg), in Hesse, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.

Schloss Imshausen is a three-wing manor built in the late 18th century for the von Trott zu Solz family, standing beside the Solz river near Bebra in Hesse. Its pale yellow facade, divided by white pilasters and topped by a mansard roof with thirteen dormer windows, blends a last breath of Rococo with early Neoclassical lines. The house is best known as the home of Adam von Trott zu Solz, a resistance figure executed in 1944 for his role in the plot against Hitler, and for the postwar political meetings held here. A permanent exhibition now recounts his life and work.
