Schloss Heubach stands at the heart of the small town of Heubach in Baden-Württemberg. It was built from 1525 onward by Georg VII von Wöllwarth, who intended it as his family's residence during the turbulent years of the Peasants' War and the early Reformation. The building is notable for its large glazed façades and original wall paintings depicting religious scenes and everyday life, as well as for comforts unusual for its time, including indoor toilets and four heated rooms. After long neglect, during which it served as a barn and farm dwelling, it was taken over by the town of Heubach and restored.
