Schloss Bucha stands in the village of Bucha, part of the municipality of Kaiserpfalz, on the site of a twelfth century stronghold once held by the counts of Buch. The present baroque building, erected in the early eighteenth century for the von Breitenbuch family, is laid out as two wings meeting at an angle, with a projecting structure set into the corner. Its entrance portal bears a carved coat of arms beneath a round arched window, and the grounds combine an early baroque garden with a landscaped park added in the nineteenth century on the western side.
