Schloss Wiehe stands in Wiehe (Kyffhäuserkreis), in Thuringia, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Schloss Wiehe overlooks the small town of Wiehe at the foot of the Schrecke hill, on the southern edge of the Unstrut valley. Grown out of a medieval stronghold first recorded as imperial property in the 10th century, the site passed through many hands before the von Werthern family acquired it for good in 1461. What visitors see today is mainly the lower wing, rebuilt in a late Renaissance style after a fire destroyed much of the complex in 1659, a four-winged building whose town-facing façade is marked by a polygonal tower with a baroque roof. A landscaped English-style park now occupies the former defensive moat.
