Schloss Bergzabern stands in Bad Bergzabern (Landkreis Südliche Weinstraße), in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Schloss Bergzabern stands in the old town centre of Bad Bergzabern, in Rhineland-Palatinate, on the site of a medieval moated castle believed to have been built by the Counts of Saarbrücken. Once a residence of the Dukes of Palatinate-Zweibrücken, the building seen today largely dates from a 16th century rebuilding, recognisable by the two round towers of its south wing, originally gun towers. Burned down in 1676 and rebuilt in the following century, it later served as a school before being restored and turned into the seat of local government, which it remains.
