Niederburg Kobern stands in Kobern-Gondorf (Landkreis Mayen-Koblenz), in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Recorded dating: 11th century. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

The Niederburg Kobern rises about 150 metres above the Moselle valley, on the same ridge that carries the Oberburg and its St. Matthias' Chapel a little higher up. Built in the mid-12th century, this almond-shaped ruin retains a 20-metre keep with a raised entrance, the remains of a Late Gothic palas restored between 1976 and 1978, a well-preserved wall tower and a cistern. Sold to the Archbishopric of Trier and destroyed in 1688, it can now be reached on foot from the Mühlbach valley and visited freely.
