The Küssaburg is a ruined hilltop castle rising above the Klettgau region in Baden-Württemberg, at an elevation of 634 metres overlooking the High Rhine valley. Built in the 12th century, it was expanded into a fortress after the Peasants' War and later destroyed in 1634 during the Thirty Years' War. Its walls, made of pale Jura limestone accented with brown sandstone details, now stand as a roofless ruin open to visitors. From the summit, views stretch across the Klettgau, the southern Black Forest and the Swiss Aargau.
