To make a day of it

Graf-Eberstein-Schloss stands in Kraichtal (Landkreis Karlsruhe), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Adult admission costs 4 EUR. Its opening hours and prices were verified at the source on October 12, 2026.

The Graf-Eberstein-Schloss stands in Gochsheim, part of Kraichtal, on the site of a medieval stronghold that once served as one of the main seats of the Counts of Eberstein. Of the Renaissance complex built from 1520 onwards, only the smaller of its two wings remains, the larger one having been torn down in the nineteenth century. Visitors can still see an original stair tower, a portal bearing the combined coat of arms of Württemberg and Eberstein, and a stuccoed ceiling in the tower room.
