Gana stands in Landkreis Meißen (Landkreis Meißen), in Saxony, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.
Burg Gana was the main stronghold of the Slavic Daleminzi people, destroyed in 929 during King Henry I's campaign against the Slavs. There are no standing walls to see here, only an archaeological site near Stauchitz in the Landkreis Meißen, whose exact location was only established with some confidence through geophysical surveys carried out in 2003. The ground still shows traces of a circular rampart once perhaps twelve metres high, enclosing a nearly square courtyard measuring 75 by 75 metres, along with burn marks pointing to violent destruction. Nearby lay Glomuci, the sacred spring of the Daleminzi.
