Fasanenschlösschen stands in Moritzburg (Landkreis Meißen), in Saxony, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Adult admission costs 8 EUR. Its opening hours and prices were verified at the source on October 10, 2026.

The Fasanenschlösschen stands on the shore of the Niederer Großteich in the Moritzburg palace park, near the eighteenth century lighthouse and linked by a sightline to Schloss Moritzburg roughly two kilometres away. Built for the House of Wettin on the site of an earlier pavilion, it was remodelled between 1769 and 1782 in a rococo style with baroque elements and chinoiserie touches. Intended as a private retreat for Elector, later King, Frederick Augustus I of Saxony, it still holds a study, a bedroom and a large dining hall upstairs. The interior is shown today through guided tours, with period furniture, wallpaper and accessories on display.
