To make a day of it

Burg und Schloss Obergrombach stands in Bruchsal (Landkreis Karlsruhe), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Burg Obergrombach rises above the village of Obergrombach, part of Bruchsal in the Landkreis Karlsruhe. Founded around 1200, it was later expanded into a summer residence by Cardinal Damian Hugo von Schönborn, giving the site its present form: an upper ward enclosed by a ring wall and a lower ward with towers, gatehouses and the owners' dwelling. Its chapel, first recorded in the mid-14th century, holds wall frescoes depicting the Passion and stories of martyrs and now serves the local Protestant congregation.
