To make a day of it
Burg Stahleck (Lichtenstein) stands in Lichtenstein (Landkreis Reutlingen), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.
Burg Stahleck refers to the remains of a former hilltop castle, now vanished, set at 711 metres above sea level on a rocky spur overlooking the Echaz valley, roughly two kilometres northwest of the church in the village of Sankt Johann-Ohnastetten. Its existence is only indirectly documented from 1254 onward, through a mention of one Konrad von Stahleck. Today only the castle ditch remains visible on the site.
