Burg Reitersdorf stands in Bad Honnef (Rhein-Sieg-Kreis), in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
In Bad Honnef, a public park preserves the foundations of a long vanished burg, of which only excavated masonry remains survive today. Built from the late 13th century by Johann von Heinsberg, it once formed the centre of a small settlement that has since disappeared. The site, known as the Park Reitersdorf, shows the outline of a square enclosure flanked by four round corner towers, surrounded by an unfinished moat. It is as much a place for a stroll as an archaeological remnant, well off the usual castle routes.
