Burg Leonberg stands at the highest point of the village of Leonberg, part of Maxhütte-Haidhof in Bavaria, and its outline can be seen from a distance. The irregular building that survives today dates from the 14th and 16th centuries, featuring a tower with a saddle roof, stepped gables and a scrolled gable on its north side. Of the four round towers that once defended the site, only two remain partly recognisable.
