Burg Bahrdorf stands in Bahrdorf (Landkreis Helmstedt), in Lower Saxony, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.
Burg Bahrdorf, in the Lower Saxon village of Bahrdorf, was once a moated stronghold whose history goes back to the 14th century. First traceable to a mention by Duke Otto the Mild in 1328 and recorded as a castrum in 1340, it long belonged to the dukes of Brunswick-Lüneburg before being pledged to the von Marenholtz family for more than two centuries. In the 19th century it was converted into a farming estate, and much of its medieval fabric was removed, though the square keep built in 1372 and a Renaissance building reworked in 1881 in the Neo-Renaissance style still stand. The grounds now function as a working farm and can be viewed from the outside.
