Il s'agit d'un luxueux édifice de style Néo-Renaissance, bâti par son propriétaire à son retour d'Amérique du sud comme symbole de sa réussite et de sa notoriété. La demeure, de plan carré, s'étage sur quatre niveaux. Elle se distingue par un décor Néo-Renaissance particulièrement fouillé sur sa façade principale Est. Une grande tour centrale ponctue le côté ouest. L'intérieur conserve plusieurs éléments du décor originel : huisseries, carrelages, parquets, cheminées, etc.
